This blog is to help inform and educate those interested in the community of Park Forest, Illinois. This post World War II village was the first master planned community to be designed under the principles of the Greenbelt Communities of the 1930s - and it is the only one that has proven to be a successful and vibrant community that changed how America and its suburbs grew after the war.
